8 Adriatico - LOCATION
Probably the best reason to move into the 8 Adriatico is its prime location. Located right in the heart of Manila, at the corner of Taft Avenue and Roxas Boulevard, the 8 Adriatico is highly accessible to many commercial areas, business districts, and other basic needs.
If you are a young professional who works in Manila’s business district, you will really love living in 8 Adriatico because you will just be one tricycle ride away from your office. If the weather permits, you can even walk there. Even if your work is located in the Makati CBD, you will not have any problem whatsoever getting there. You just need to ride a jeepney going to Buendia Avenue then ride a bus or jeep into the Makati CBD. The entire trip will not take you more than twenty minutes, even during morning rush hour. You can now take your time getting ready in the morning because you will never be late for work ever again.
8 Adriatico is also a shopaholic’s dream come true because you are literally neighbors with a huge shopping mall. The Harrison Plaza Mall is one of the oldest shopping centers in Metro Manila. However, since it is taken over by SM Malls, modern renovations are on the way. If you are a stickler for bargains and sales, Harrison Plaza may be more up your alley. However, if you want a more high-end shopping experience, you just need to hop on a jeepney and disembark in front of Robinson’s Place Manila. This shopping mall is just ten to fifteen minutes away from 8 Adriatico and has dozens upon dozens of shops and boutiques that you can choose from.
If you have kids living with you and you want to enroll them in a good school, you just need to cross the street from 8 Adriatico to find the De La Salle University Manila. A bit further away, you will also see the St. Scholastica’s College and beside that is De La Salle College of St. Benilde. You will never run out of choices when it comes to schools and colleges for your kids when you live in the area.
Another place of interest that is nearby the 8 Adriatico includes the Rizal Memorial Coliseum, where you can watch sports events featuring local collegiate athletes and some professional leagues. Beside that is the Rizal Memorial Track and Football Stadium where collegiate track and field athletes usually compete. Sometimes, you can also catch games from the local professional soccer league.
Just a short jeepney ride away, you will find yourself in the famous Manila Zoo. Although the zoo itself has seen better days, it is still a fun place to visit so you can see a lot of the country’s local wildlife.
There are so many things to see and do in this part of Manila, which makes it a wonder why not that many people are actually interested in living here. However, times are changing and it seems that people are starting to change their minds about Manila and maybe in the years to come, a huge influx of people will come surging into the city once again.
